Can’t say that these sets impress me very much. The musician units are cool and have special powers that make me say “Wow, that’s going to add something to the game,” but the axe, sling, and spear units are boring and mostly don’t seem worth their specialist cards. The goblins are much better off than the dwarves. At least their spear guys get a color upgrade. I don’t know about the slingers. A range of 2? That’s not very good. ANY unit they are attacking can engage and attack them in the same activation so what’s the point? Only if they were across impassable terrain or archer’s stakes would they be worth fielding. Nope, not impressed. I’m sure I’ll end up getting them both eventually, but I’m no longer rushing to make sure I can afford them both on their release.
