Adventure Army Lists
Here’s a handy little Excel spreadsheet I whipped up to keep track of how many and which type of units are used in each scenario, so I could paint units in the most efficient order possible. The spreadsheet lists the number used of each type of unit in every official scenario published: the first ten from the core game, the first batch of six published online, and the recently published five Epic games. Download it now.

Excellent idea but you neglected to add the most important information. It can easily deduced from the spreadsheet since you already did the dirty work of compiling the information. What would be most useful to know is in how many adventures is a particular unit used.
This is the order in which you would get the most bang for your painting time:
1. Blue infantry, blue cavalry, green archers. These are used in all 21 adventures.
2. Red infantry is used in 20 of the 21 adventures.
3. Red cavalry and green infantry are used in 17 adventures of the 21 adventures.
And the list goes down from there.
Bottom line: Paint all the human miniatures first.

Well, yes you could do that, but the point of the sheet is to see which figures you need to paint to play which adventures. Blue infantry is certainly used in all the adventures, but all 16 are used in only 1, so if you paint just 10 you can play a lot of adventures with all your blue infantry painted. I stick by my method! ;)
